For 83 years Glen Ridge was one of several Bloomfield neighborhoods. In February 1895, it established its independence. Join us for a reprise slide presentation given by Sally Meyer in February 2012 to learn more about the origin story of Glen Ridge. It’s a tale of courageous decisions made by a disgruntled citizenry that resulted in the creation of a “residence section second to none”.
